VICE PRESIDENT OF WESTERN REGION

Alex oversees the Western Region (currently consisting of Arizona, California, Oregon, Hawaii, and Washington) for HomeRiver Group, is a senior member of the HomeRiver team and the Broker Associate for HRG Sacramento, a Certified Residential Management Company (CRMC®) located in Sacramento, CA. Alex believes in providing professional, ethical, and accountable asset management to achieve the maximum return on your investment. Alex has obtained the leading three industry designations: Certified Property Manager® (CPM®) from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) and Master Property Manager (MPM®) and Residential Management Professional (RMP®), both from NARPM®. Alex maintains a California Brokers License (01838143). Alex holds a Masters Degree in Real Estate from Georgetown University and a BSBA from the University of Arizona. Alex is a founding board member of the REstart charity that is devoted to bringing two of the most basic needs, housing, and employment, to disadvantaged individuals caught in the cycle of poverty and homelessness. REstart offers participants training, mentoring, and job placement assistance leading to careers in property management. Alex resides in Sacramento with her husband and two children.

DESIGNATED BROKER

Eric started his property management career with one of the area’s largest and most prestigious property management firms. He specialized in large apartment complexes and managed portfolios in Spokane, WA and Kennewick, WA. Seeking to open his own business, he saw that the single family and small multi-family management space in Spokane was missing a high-touch, high-tech type of firm that delivered top-notch service and rapid response times. He endeavors to continually improve the firm by utilizing technology and high-energy team members with a commitment to service in order to provide an exceptional client experience.

Always believing education and industry involvement is critical to the success of his clients, Eric is a current member of the National Association of Property Managers (NARPM), Past-President of the local NARPM chapter, a member of the Institute for Real Estate Management (IREM), a member and the immediate Past-President of Independent Brokers of Spokane (IB) and is a member of the Professional Development Committee at the Spokane Association of Realtors (SAR).

Eric is a certified Residential Management Professional (RMP) through NARPM and will be receiving his Master Property Manager (MPM) designation through NARPM in 2019. This prestigious designation is held by less than 1% of real estate professionals.

In addition to his professional affiliations, Eric is a certified instructor with the Washington State Department of Licensing, Real Estate Division and has written and currently teaches a 3-Hour Continuing Education Credit / Clock Hour class titles Success Basics for Property Managers and Landlords.

Eric was born and raised in Ephrata, WA. He attended Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, WA and received his B.A. in Education from Eastern Washington University. He currently resides in northwest Spokane with his wife and two children. In his off time he enjoys conversations on current events, is a political junkie, loves to drive, is an obsessive reader and is a huge fan of stand-up comedy. And of course… Go Zags!!! Go Eags!!! Go Cougs!!!

Fun Fact: Eric worked for a beekeeper in his youth and loves black jelly beans.

Wayne Hunt
REGIONAL MANAGER

Wayne has bachelor’s degrees in Graphic Communications and Creative Writing from Eastern Washington University, as well as an MBA in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University. Go Zags! He spent over 20 years in the publishing industry before bringing his leadership and process development skills to HomeRiver.

Wayne has lived his entire life in the Pacific Northwest where he is proud to have raised four daughters. He enjoys being outdoors, hiking, or tending to a campfire with his wife and two dogs.

Fun Fact: Wayne loves pie. He makes all different flavors of pie - from scratch! His favorite? Apple!

PROPERTY MANAGER

Kristina has a degree in Medical Sciences with a focus on emergency health care. Before working here, She worked in an emergency room in her hometown of Indiana. After 20 plus years of service she worked with an insurance company and in sales.

Kristina is a proud Mother to her 3 wonderful children and Grandmother to 6. She loves the outdoors and spends much of her spare time enjoying nature, whether it is with her camera or just enjoying the fresh air and beautiful scenery. She also enjoys cooking gourmet meals and catching up on her favorite dramas.

Fun Fact: Kristina loves to take spontaneous road trips and is always up for seeing somewhere new

PROPERTY MANAGER

Richard has degrees in natural resource management and environmental sciences with a focus on fish and wildlife conservation. Before working here, he was a part of a dedicated team of scientists working to understand the ecological affects from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico during 2011.

Richard was born and raised in the United Kingdom, and after a career in the British Military as a Combat Medical Technician, he decided to travel the world before settling in the United States. He still travels extensively and is an avid backpacker and woodsman. He uses this love of travel and the outdoors to fuel his passion of landscape photography

Fun Fact: Richard loves to read and write, he has composed a few novels for his own entertainment and they are all in the horror genre.

RESIDENT COORDINATOR

Dionne has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and worked in companies such as General Electric and Honeywell for 15 years. She specialized in Supply Chain and worked as a Buyer and as a Commodity Manager purchasing materials and negotiating contracts with international suppliers. After that, she worked as a Real Estate Agent in a local office.

She enjoys practicing Yoga, taking care of her house plants, trying new vegan recipes and playing board games with her family. She has been married for 16 years and lives with her husband and their son.

Fun Fact: Her first job was as a cashier in the first Pizza Hut that ever opened in her home town!

RESIDENT COORDINATOR

Tammy came to HomeRiver from a background specializing in Customer Service and teaching foreign language.

As an English teacher for adults and children, she helped thousands of students learn and master the English language for work and personal reasons working with both private and public schools.

Through her customer service career Tammy has worked with companies like Verizon, Sears, Citibank, Assurance and helped over 20,000+ customers, while maintaining the utmost customer experience. She loves to meet new people and her constant desire to help has served her well in her career.

Tammy loves to participate and help social organizations, is a profound lover of animals and is mom to two amazing chihuahuas. She loves to learn about the world and the culture of other countries. She spent three years of her life in South Korea teaching and learning. Traveling is the one thing she would not give up for anything. Tammy’s biggest goal is to learn as much as she can while enjoying the ride. She has lived in three different countries, a few different cities and would love to go back to Korea just for cherry blossom season!

Fun Fact: Tammy loves outdoor/nature photography and is trying to learn a bit of French and Arab.

PROPERTY MANAGER

Aaron recently moved to Spokane in 2018 after being stationed at Fairchild AFB for four years. He loved Spokane so much that he decided to move back! He was born in Canada to Jamaican immigrants and moved to Florida at the age of 10 and lived there until he joined the Air Force. While at Fairchild he also proudly served in the Honor guard for two years along with gaining experience in maintenance as a Water and Fuel Systems Maintenance Technician.  Aaron also has a love for technology and has extensive experience in customer service and technical support having worked jobs in the insurance, payment processing, and IT fields and holds a degree in Computer Information Technology. In his spare time Aaron enjoys staying active by practicing martial arts and playing soccer, and he also enjoys making music and doing voice over work as a hobby.

Fun Fact: Aaron enjoys building computers from the ground up and has built them for friends and family.

PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT

Martha came to Homeriver Group after 19 years operating her own small healthcare business in Spokane.

Martha is currently finishing her B.S. in Accounting at Western Governors University.

Martha was raised on a small family farm in Wilson Creek, WA. She spent her younger years working on the farm and working in her mother’s retail business in Grand Coulee, WA. She helped her husband form his construction business, set up his books, and frequently counsels him on operations. She has been married 23 years and has two daughters. Martha enjoys spending time with her family at their home in the country, studying, gardening, and swimming.

Fun Fact: Martha is a tomboy!
